Telefónica has optimized the purchase of the terminals of all the manufacturers thanks to the dVelox Enterprise apredictive technology of Apara. This platform enables Telefónica to predictive automatically and determine which terminal is best suited for a particular segment in order to increase consumption, improving  company cost-effective.

dVelox Enterprise can also identify those terminals that are not attractive or do not increase the consumption, priorities  purchase  and allocated  terminals  per segment. This work has provided the Spanish operator to maximize the income of postpaid customers easily and accurately.

Hugo Crego, Head of the Mobile Intelligence at Telefónica, comments the facility of use and the tool  accuracy: "We needed something oriented to decisions instead of the data or algorithms needed to work. dVelox Enterprise provides higher accuracy levels, high calculation capacity, zero complexity and total adaptability. We had the first predictive models in a few days".

With the implementation of dVelox Enterprise, Telefónica has increased its efficiency by 18% in the decisions making. In addition, increased its return on investment between 12 and 14% on terminals purchase and time reduction obtaining results, getting value responses in the first two weeks.

Apara´s predictive tool is able to anticipate new scenarios and predict future situations such reconising the most effective terminal to retain a customer up to 83% accuracy. With all this, the Spanish operator has been able to reduce by more than 50% the effort of implementing  and maintaining the predictive ability in the  Intelligence Terminal area.


As stated José Manuel del Rio, Director General of Apara "dVelox Enterprise has the ability to update all the models in a few days or even hours, to ensure the company's predictions always correspond with reality and the changes that might occur. " Thus, Telefónica can improve its decisions in managing portfolios of handsets.
